- Kitchen, laundry and bath disinfectants and sanitizers or other products that kill or control mold or mildew.
- Cockroach sprays and baits.
- Flea and tick sprays, powders, collars and wristbands.
- Lawn and garden products that kill weeds, insects, plant diseases, rodents and other animals.
- Insect control chalk (aka Chinese chalk).
- Insect repellents.
- Plant protection chemicals that kill weeds, insects or plant diseases.
Unlabeled containers of liquid:
- Bottles with the cap are missing.

Halogen (torchiere) lamps:
- CPSC advises you to destroy any halogen lamp if:
- There is no wire or glass guard over the glass bulb shield in the bowl at the top of the lamp.
- The top of the guard should be 3 inches from the glass bulb shield.
- The bulb wattage for the tubular halogen light bulb is more than 300 watts, even if the original label on the lamp says that a 500-watt bulb can be used.
- The plug is not polarized (with one blade wider than the other).
- The cord has mechanical damage.
- There are signs of corrosion or bent or loose parts. Any of these may indicate a malfunctioning or potentially hazardous lamp.

Broken or faulty electronics:
- Lamps, kitchen appliances, etc
Electronics:
- No vacuum cleaners/steam cleaners
- No TVs, including computer monitors
Power tools:
- Tools with missing guards, frayed cords or any other absent safety feature.
Oversized or heavy items:
- Entertainment centers.
- Cast iron sinks/tubs.
- Pianos.
- Granite slabs.
- Full rolls of carpet.
Used car parts:
- Any part integral to the safe operation of a vehicle.
- Automotive tires and rims
Rolled flashing
Helmets/hard hats (used):
- Bike helmets.
- Decorative helmets.
- Hard hats.
- Protective helmets.
Cedar chests:
- Lane cedar chests-- Ensure lock is not the old self-securing type to avoid children being locked inside.
Books:
- No old encyclopedia sets or textbooks
- No miscellaneous household magazines including National Geographic
Furniture:
- No outdated fabric- floral prints/plaid/ stripes
- Upholstered furniture must be completely free of burns, tears, rips, animals’ fur, stains, fade, no cracks in leather and not broken
- No particle board furniture
- No large metal/steel or particle board desks
- Wooden furniture needs to be in usable condition- no major repairs needed
- No water damaged furniture
- No bed sets: headboard, foot boards, rails
- TV cabinets, armoire must hold a 45 in tv
No building materials:
- Includes light fixtures, plumbing, appliances, etc
- Doors, sinks, toilets, etc..
Exercise equipment:
- No motorized equipment
Large appliances:
- Dishwashers, refrigerators, washer/dryers, stoves, or trash compactors
Paint:
- We don’t accept any paint
Skis:
- We don’t accept any skis

Donation Guidelines
- Donations are being accepted Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Donation receipts for tax deductible purposes are issued at the time of drop-off/pick-up only.
- All donations must be in good and re-usable condition.
- All donations must be approved and are accepted at staff discretion.
- Please note that our staff does not repair, recycle or dispose of trash for customers.
